How is PenPath different from a static PDF worksheet?

A static PDF stores the finished pages. PenPath keeps a reusable worksheet recipe: teaching Blocks, a dataset or roster, template rules, page settings, and the resolved layout. You can change a parameter and compile a new delivery without rebuilding the page by hand.

Can PenPath generate a separate PDF for every student?

Yes. Class-scale batch generation resolves the plan against roster records, then the server-side PDF worker can produce per-student PDFs and a class ZIP. Batch limits depend on the selected plan.

What is a PenPath Block?

A Block is a structured teaching unit such as Name Trace, Letter Practice, Sound Boxes, a Maze, or Teacher Notes. Blocks carry content bindings and layout behavior, so they can be combined into reusable templates without becoming freeform page objects.

Is the weekly planner a full lesson-planning system?

It is a worksheet production planner: teachers schedule worksheet assignments across the week and generate the corresponding learner packets. It is not positioned as a full curriculum or classroom management system.

Does the browser decide how the PDF is laid out?

No. LayoutCore resolves final geometry in PostScript points before the SVG, PDF, or Canvas Play adapter renders it. Browser fonts, DOM measurement, and Canvas measureText are not the source of final layout.

Are original handwriting font files sent to the browser?

No. Private fonts remain server-side. The public preview receives renderer output after the worksheet has already been resolved.
